Holly, TOAN founder, in a quiet moment of reflection

The Story

TOAN didn't begin with a planner.

It began with a feeling.

For years, I filled notebooks with goals, plans, and lists. I bought planners that promised structure and systems that promised productivity. They worked for a while, but eventually every page started to feel the same. More boxes to check. More things to keep up with. More pressure to do enough.

What I was really looking for wasn't another planning system.

It was a little more space.

Space to notice what mattered.

Space to think before reacting.

Space to make decisions with intention instead of urgency.

So I stopped asking how to fit more into my days and started asking a different question.

What if planning could feel like coming home to yourself?

That question became TOAN.

Every page was designed to remove friction instead of adding it. To create clarity instead of clutter. To gently guide your attention toward what matters now, while leaving enough room for life to unfold naturally.

It's not about doing everything.

It's about choosing what matters most.

Because the best planning doesn't ask you to change who you are.

It simply creates the space to live with greater clarity and intention.

Why TOAN exists

TOAN began with a simple observation: the tools we use to plan our lives have become loud. They push for more. They fill every margin with something to do. And in chasing productivity, they leave less room for the very thing they claim to serve: a life lived with intention.

We believe planning should be an act of care. It should create space rather than consume it. The kind of planning that actually changes how you move through your days is reflective and grounded in real human rhythms. That is what TOAN is here to make.

How we design

Every TOAN product begins with a question: what does this need to do, and what can it leave out? We are drawn to restraint. The most useful tool is often the simplest one. Our design process is slow and iterative, shaped by real use and honest feedback.

The TOAN 2027 Planner reflects this philosophy in every detail. The materials are chosen for how they feel. The layout favors breathing room over density. The method is built around natural rhythms: annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly, because time works in cycles rather than sprints.

We believe that living intentionally means paying attention to what is already here, choosing what to carry forward, and letting the rest go. Our tools are designed to support that practice.

The meaning behind The One And Only

The name TOAN carries a quiet conviction. 'The One And Only' is not about being the best planner on the market. It is about how each person's life is singular and irreplaceable. Your year holds more possibilities than you can see from here, and you get to choose how you meet what unfolds. TOAN is here to help you do that with presence and care. One life. One year. One you. The One And Only.
